Palabra Pura: Luis Tubens & Rita María Martínez, Wednesday, November 18th

I always invite everyone to Palabra Pura but this time I really, really want people to come to enjoy the poetry of one of the best young Puerto Rican poets in Chicago: Luis Tubens. I can't say enough good things about Luis. He's AMAZING!!! Since the first time I heard his poetry I was captivated by his words and by the way he performs his poetry. Luis later became my student and I made him do some of his poems in class and the reaction was from crying to a standing ovation. Please don't miss this great opportunity to see this young talent in action. You won't regret it.
